Fractured #8 Crown into Glass Ceramic Restorative Case
#1 The patient came in with a fractured #8 crown. Glass-ceramics are widely used because they are some of the most esthetic and biocompatible materials for dental restorations, so an E.max restoration was chosen for the tooth.
#2 A coping with a facial cutback was milled and crystallized.
#3 The shape, shade, length, bite, and interproximal contact were evaluated at the bisque stage.
#4 After the patient’s approval, staining and glazing were performed.
