Various long term studies confirm the high level of safety and impressive reliability of IPS e.max Press. In the 10-year study of K. Malament, a total of 5,113 cumulative years of observation showed a failure rate of 0.14% per year.

Preparation Guidelines
No angles or sharp edges
Shoulder preparation with rounded inner edges and/or chamfer preparation
The indicated dimensions reflect the minimum thickness for IPS e.max CAD restorations
The incisal edge of the preparation, particularly for anterior teeth, should be at least 1.0 mm
